The opportunity
Allan Mosh is working in partnership with an international, private equity backed client, a global leader in energy solutions currently going through an exciting period of growth, to recruit a Senior SOX IT Control Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract. You'll play a hands on role in strengthening the IT control environment, working closely with control owners, IT teams, and internal and external auditors.
What you’ll do
Support the design and operation of IT SOX controls aligned to governance frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 27001. Drive remediation of control deficiencies, working directly with control owners to implement solutions. Track and monitor remediation progress, maintaining action logs and following up on overdue items. Support SOX activities including walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence collection. Report on control effectiveness, risk, and remediation status to key stakeholders. Assist with internal and external audit requests, gathering evidence and coordinating responses. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider IT controls environment.
What you’ll bring
Three to six years' experience in IT controls, IT audit, SOX, or IT risk. Solid understanding of ITGCs across access, change, and operations. Experience supporting SOX testing and remediation activities. Strong organisational skills with the ability to track multiple workstreams at once. Confident stakeholder engagement and clear communication. Familiarity with GRC tools such as Workiva is helpful but not essential.
